A study that monitors the relationship between marijuana and sperm

A recent Harvard study found an increase in sperm count among men who took marijuana, compared to those who did not take marijuana.

Researchers analyzed health surveys and sperm samples of more than 650 men at the Massachusetts Fertility Center between 2000 and 2017.

George Chavarua, an assistant professor of nutrition and epidemiology, said the sperm count in the men studied was normal.

According to surveys of these men, 55% reported having smoked marijuana at some point in their lives and 11% at the time their data was collected.

Researchers found that sperm concentrations and their numbers were higher among those who used marijuana than men who had never used them.

It was also found that they did not activate a hormone related to infertility if levels increased.

But the researchers found that people who smoked marijuana in the past had a slightly higher sperm count than those who smoked at the time of the survey.

The study leader said the results were surprising for the research team, noting that the study was well-considered to ensure accurate results.

But he warned that these results did not mean a marijuana claim. "This does not mean that marijuana use will increase the number of sperm," he said, adding that the study was not conducted to establish the causal link between marijuana and testicles.

There are not many studies on a relationship Marijuana use is a concoction and some previous studies suggest that it could affect sperm quality.
