Riyadh (echo):
Many questions have been raised about the monthly minimum wage after the relocation of most jobs in the Kingdom, while it announced a new mechanism for calculating the rate of nationalization of workers in the “Cards” program, which is of 4,000 riyals per month.
It turns out that the decision has been in effect for 5 months from Wednesday, November 18, 2020.
A worker whose monthly salary is 3,000 riyals represents only half of the percentage of emiratization calculated in the “Nitaqat” program. A worker whose monthly salary is less than 3000 riyals is not taken into account in the percentage of emiratization calculated in the “Nitaqat” program.
A worker whose monthly salary is over 3,000 riyals and less than 4,000 riyals is calculated by only half of the percentage of emiratization calculated in the “Nitaqat” program.
The part-time worker is also calculated in the percentage of nationalization calculated in the “Nitaqat” program with half of the worker for the benefit of the entity for which he works, provided that social contributions are paid, with a minimum monthly wage of 3,000 riyals, and it is not calculated in the resettlement rate with more than two entities. Relocation calculated in the “Nitaqat” program with a third of the worker for the benefit of the entity for which he works, provided that he performs a total of 168 hours of work and pays social contributions, taking into account ministerial decisions in flexibility of work.
