The nightingale Abdul Halim Hafez was a close friend of Najla Fathi's family (1950) and frequented their home.

The dream of the great and vast Najla Fathi was to appear before Abdel Halim Hafez on the cinema screen, and it was almost true when it was agreed that she would take the lead in front of Abdel Halim in the film "Abi al-Shagara".
Things did not continue as well on the other side Najla, quickly broke a great argument between her and Nightingale when she agreed to play a lead role in the movie "Afrah" Ramses Najib in 1968.
