CAIRO: The club has received an oral warning from the Confederation of African Football (CAF) to change stadiums against Sun Sunds, club football director Sayed Abdel Hafid said on Sunday.
The Red Stars host Sun Dunes in the quarterfinals of the African Champions League on Saturday night, April 13.
Abdul-Hafiz said in private statements to El-Ahly.com That the club has received a verbal notification from CAF establishing the meeting of Sun Downs in the Suez Military Court instead of that of the Burj Al Arab Stadium in Alexandria.
Football coach Al-Ahli said that an official letter from Al Kef should change ground in the coming hours.
Abdul Hafiz concluded his remarks by saying that the Uruguayan coach, Martin Lasarte, would study the issue after the end of the FA Cup match.
Al Ahli met with Al Ittihad of Alexandria on Tuesday night at the 27th day of the competition in the Burj Al Arab Stadium.
