The secretary general of the League of Arab States, Ahmed Aboul Gheit, said Sunday that the interventions of Iran and Turkey in the affairs of several Arab countries exacerbated the crisis and moved it away from the solution.

Aboul Gheit said the Arab countries had recently experienced the worst period and the most serious threats, especially terrorist threats and the proliferation of armed formations in several countries.

Aboul Gheit said that "the threats would alert to the need to unite all Arab countries and that Arab security is indivisible," stressing the need to preserve what he called "the national state ".

He stressed that "the Golan occupied the Arab land", adding that "the Israeli occupation wanted to stabilize the reality of the occupation and destruction of the land".

He stressed that "the common Arab action is the lifeline of all Arab countries and should be extended as much as possible".

He called on Arab unity to address all internal and external threats to Arab countries, considering that these threats affect all countries from Muscat to Marrakech.

Ahmed Aboul Gheit also paid a great tribute to King Salman during the presidency of the Kingdom of the Arab Summit.
