Arab League Secretary-General Ahmed Aboul Gheit said on Sunday that "the Arab and European stance is united on the rejection of Iranian interference in the affairs of the Arab countries".
On the sidelines of the Arab-European summit in Sharm el-Sheikh, the Secretary-General of the Arab League expressed the hope that the European party "has now understood the importance of stability in the Arab world and the non-interference in the affairs of its internal states ".
In the Yemeni dossier, Aboul Gheit stressed "the gravity of the Iranian intervention in Yemen, support the Houthi militias and hinder any effort to resolve the crisis", calling for a decisive position to deal with this intervention.
As for Libya, it was considered that the Libyan issue "is very complicated because of external interference and the desire of the parties to continue the conflict".
