At the IFA 2019 conference, Acer unveiled all of its Chromebooks, bringing updates for the Chromebook 315 15.6-inch, the Chromebook 314 144-inch and the 11-inch 2-in-1 versions of the Chromebook.

The Chromebook 314 and Chromebook 315 will be available with a Full HD IPS touch screen. Especially, they will have a sleek design with ultra-thin frames, which will give it less space than previous devices, and the Chromebook 315 will also feature a fully digital panel.

Both will have USB 3.1 Type-C ports on both sides, which can also be used for charging, as well as standard USB 3.1 ports and a microSD card reader.

Each device will be equipped with a dual core Intel Celeron N4000 processor or a four core Celeron N4100 processor. The Chromebook 315 will have an additional option for a Pentium Silver N5000 processor.

For memory, they will each have 8 GB of RAM with eMMC storage, but the Chromebook 315 can have 128 GB of storage, while the Chromebook 314 will come with up to 64 GB.

The 2-in-1 versions will be lightweight with 11.6-inch HD touchscreens and Wacom EMR support.

In addition, the Chromebook Spin 311 and Chromebook 311 will have USB ports and a microSD card reader, with the same processor options as Intel Celeron.

The Chromebook Spin 311 can hold up to 64GB of storage and 8GB of RAM, while the Chromebook 311 only offers 32GB and 4GB of RAM.

All of these devices will be available in the EMEA region from October and in North America by December.

The prices are as follows:

  • The Chromebook 315 starts at $ 279
  • The Chromebook 314 starts at $ 279
  • Chromebook Spin 311 starts at $ 329
  • Chromebook 311 starts at $ 249
