Last week, many participants had to organize an economic conference: no international tumult nor events in the universities. The PDS did not come into play, but the conference failed. It was not a conference in Tel Aviv or Jerusalem, it was the fourth Arab economic conference to be held in Beirut, under the boycott of Arab leaders, with the exception of the leaders of Qatar and Mauritania .
Is the Arab world boycotting Lebanon? Officially not. Practically yes. Like so many other things in the Middle East, this time, Iran was also the cause. Lebanon's Abdel Rahman al-Rashed, former editor-in-chief of Al-Sharq al-Awsat and chief executive of Al-Arabiya, could have been the most prosperous country in the Arab world, but that's not the case. is not produced because Iran is dominant in Lebanon, through Hezbollah.
Al-Rashed goes further and explains: "The region is dominated by a series of crises, the most common of which is the link with Iran." Unfortunately, Lebanon will not be stable, Palestinians will not lead to civil life nor to a State. Yemen, Iraq, Syria and Bahrain have no hope for a better future as long as Iranian politics continue to wreak havoc. "The former President of the United States , Jimmy Carter, and Swedish Foreign Minister Margot Wallström, have developed the theory that "everything, because of the oppression of Israel by the Palestinians", is in the Arab world, as Al -Rashid, and point finger toward Iran.
Iran, which has no connection with the failure of the Beirut conference, is in trouble. Until the conclusion of the nuclear deal, sanctions against Iran resulted in a decline in per capita gross domestic product from $ 7,832 in 2012 to $ 4,862 in 2015 , and the nuclear deal reached $ 5,593 in 2017. But since the United States decided to resume sanctions, deteriorate. For years, the country has been suffering from drought and the Tehran region itself is in decline, causing an environmental calamity of unprecedented magnitude. The only neighbor able to cope with the scourge of drought is Israel. Netanyahu offered his help. It would be nice if, instead of fighting to develop nuclear weapons and fund plots in every corner of the Arab world, Iran was ready for regional cooperation, but Iran preferred to invest billions of dollars in the area of death, not to solve the difficult problems that it breeds. It must be recognized that the problem of radical Islam, Sunnis and Shiites is beginning to flourish, preferring destruction and destruction to development and prosperity.
Here is one of the global tricks of the current era, in which the PDS is at the center. The PDS is already damaging the conscience of Israel. Instead of recognizing the fact that the central problem of the Islamic world is religious extremism and jihad, these elites develop a fiction that Israel is the problem, and these elites do not help Muslims at all. Palestinians in particular, on the contrary, constitute a propaganda arm of Iran, Hezbollah and Hamas. This is a great way to perpetuate the problem. This is not the way to change.
From the Arab point of view, things are different: the word "refugees" has already been mentioned in the conference many times. But unlike in the past, there are refugees from Syria.
Palestinians have not mentioned. They have become a kind of incurable disease. There is no real expectation that the problem is solved. But so that refugees do not always become refugees, there is more and more talk of a voluntary return to Syria.
However, Al-Rashed has described Iran as the central problem of the region. This is an acceptable description of most leaders of Arab countries, whose position is similar to that of Israel. A loss that what they understand more and more in the Arab countries includes less and less circles of progress in the West.
