Mona al-Saber, the mother of the artist Hala al-Turk, has published photos of her after removing her from the veil via her Snapchat account.
Hala's mother, with short, wavy hair, appeared very differently from her hijab. She took a selfie and expressed her admiration for her form by commenting, "God willing, no filter, no makeup and nothing."
Sabir's new look impressed some with dramatic changes in her appearance.
