The African Football Confederation (CAF) has announced the final list of candidates for the African footballer title of the year, reduced to three players: Mohamed Salah, the star of the Liverpool national team, Sadeo Mani, the Senegalese striker and Liverpool striker Pierre Emeric Obamyang.
The award ceremony will take place in Dakar, the Senegalese capital, on January 8th.
Mohamed Salah won the title of African player of the year last year after also competing with Senegalese Sadio Mani and Pierre Obamyang of Gabon.
Prior to the announcement of the award, Al-Kaf had previously stated that the process of selecting the best player in Africa was conducted by the Technical and Development Committee, led by Abdel Moneim Shata, former CAF Technical Director, experts in the field. media and former African stars, as well as by club coaches qualified for the quarter-finals of both regular competitions.
