Burj Khalifa of the United Arab Emirates celebrated the Qatar Cup final in Asia after defeating Japan in their match against Madinat Zayed Stadium in the continental championship final.
Qatar was crowned Asian Cup champion for the first time in its history while Japan lost the first final in the history of its participation in the competition.
The goals of the Japan-Qatar match were scored by Al Moez Ali, Abdul Aziz Hatem and Akram Afif in the 12th, 27th and 83rd minutes respectively, while Japan's only goal was by Takumi Minaminu in the 69th minute.
Al-Moez raised his score to 9 with Qatar in this edition, becoming the first player to score nine goals in a single edition of the Asian Cup.
