Majid Petal, undersecretary of the Ministry of the Civil Service for Human Capital Development and Planning, said that the progress of the posts after the new regulations would be stopped by the "merit" platform, adding that this would be replaced by the most flexible national portal for employment.

He pointed out that previous waiting lists of "merit" would not lose, but would be transferred to the national portal, and that the points obtained would remain as is.

He added to the "Ya Hala" program that the role of the national portal will be advertising and the advancement of jobs, but that the recruitment procedures themselves are done at "merit".

He said that the national portal would include the public and private sectors, and that is what distinguishes it well. He stressed that the new Ministry of the Civil Service would play a role (governance) and that it would look into the issue of building human resources departments in official bodies.

He added that the new job classification will be done through an electronic system, which reads the qualifications, and the classification of jobs automatically appear there, without any human intervention.

The Ministry of Public Service announced a few days ago the executive regulation on human resources published Thursday, September 9, Jumada II 1440 H, corresponding to February 14, 2019, after approval by the Committee established by the decision of the Council ministers to form a committee led by the Minister of the Public Service. , The Ministry of Finance and the Council of Ministers' Council of Experts set the Regulations for the Implementation of the Civil Service System and the relevant rules and provisions.
