Egyptian media, including Sada al-Balad, revealed on Sunday that the Egyptian administration Ahli wanted Argentinian Ramon Diaz to take over the first team in the new season.
Al Ahly's board of directors announced the official dismissal of Martin Lasarte a few hours ago, after the Egyptian team's 1-0 defeat of the Egyptian Pyramids.
Although Ramon Diaz is about to sign with Zamalek recently, he refused to lead the white team because of disagreements with the board during negotiations.
