Al Ahli club officials rejected the proposal by some members of the Football Association to set up the Al Ahmar match against Pyramids on February 28 in Egypt Cup instead of the championship, as one of the recent solutions to end the crisis of the champions.
"On the seventh day," Ahli's management rejected the proposal to replace the league's Pyramids in the cup and welcomed the Red Castle league calendar officials, notified to the National in January and set February 28 to face Red with the league of Pyramids and not the cup.
The national officials officially address the Football Federation by rejecting the proposal after a meeting of the emergency council held on Saturday.
