The Egyptian artist Ahmed Ezz flies to Saudi Arabia a few days after two weeks spent in Bulgaria, where he turns some scenes of his new film "Arif … the return of Younis".
Arif, shot in 2019 for the end of his films The Passage and Ould Rizk II, revolves around the notion of modern day warfare and the control exercised by pirates over public bodies.
"El Aref" with Ahmed Ezz, Mahmoud Hamida, Ahmed Fahmy, Mustafa Khater, Carmen Basibes, Rakeen Saad, Ahmed Khaled Saleh, written by Mohamed Sayed Bashir and directed by Ahmed Alaa El Deeb, to be screened in 2020.
It should be noted that this year, Ezz has directed two films, "The Passage" and "Awlad Rizk 2" and has achieved remarkable success in Egyptian and Arab theaters.
