Ahmed Fathy, the star of the Pyramids Club’s first football team, appeared in a music video on Ontime Sports, responding to news of a crisis between him and his club’s technical staff and officials.
Fathi said in the video: “It is normal for any player who does not participate in games to be angry, but I have been in 4 games after recovering from an injury.”
He added: “I spoke with the coach, Aruabarina, in a discussion about not taking part in certain matches, but without creating a crisis.”
He continued, “To speak of a crisis that concerns me in Pyramids is without merit.”
And he continued: “We aspire to win against the Moroccan Raja next Sunday in Confederation, and we will face a strong team of course which has a great reputation at African level.”
He ended his remarks: “Congratulations to the Egyptian team qualifying for the African nations. I hope our team, led by Hossam El-Badry, will reach the final of the World Cup.”
