The al-Houthi terrorist militia prevented pregnancy pills and reproductive health facilities in Sa'ada governorate and imposed heavy fines on those who marketed them.
Local sources told Eye of the Arabs that the Houthi group banned pills for pregnancy and reproductive health in the province of Saada a few days ago and had committed to to impose heavy fines on those who traded.
The sources added that these methods have been banned for years among supporters of the Houthi group, but have recently banned the community in areas under its control, including the group's Saada stronghold.
The sources explained that these practices are politically motivated by the fact that the army needs to have more children to maintain the military cycle and put them on the front line so that families do not feel not inferior because of the significant losses of their members.
