This will begin on Wednesday, March 27 at 6 pm, until the temporary operation of Abha airport at 3 am on Thursday, March 28.

The Civil Aviation Authority announced that it would start operating the temporary runway at Abha International Airport starting March 28 for two months.

The temporary runway will replace the main runway of the airport, which will be developed and reconfigured to accommodate large and large aircraft, in order to keep pace with the increase in the number of passengers and the number of flights at the airport. Abha international airport.

In the same context, the Authority announced that it is currently expanding the lounges of the airport and its main corridor, which envisaged increasing the number of four-door internal gates for 750 people, with possibility to increase the number of doors to six, depending on the operational needs of the airport.
