Sami Al-Ahli coach Sami Al-Ahly has called for the signing of punitive penalties against Al-Ittihad players from Alexandria because of the clashes that took place Tuesday in the match between the two teams.
Al-Ahly defeated Al Ittihad 2-0 in the Arab Champions League on Sunday.
"There must be punitive sanctions, because of what happened to the players of Al Ittihad who had clashed with Al Ahly in the last match," he said.
"We are still confident that we can win in any game, even at the last minute, and with the return of Saleh Juma among the most important gains of our Lord," he added.
"Ramadan Sobhi has surpassed today and made a great match."
Al Ahly leads the standings with 55 points and Zamalek has 54 points and Zamalek has a bigger match.
