The Egyptian Football Federation, led by engineer Hani Abu Reda, has announced its unwavering support for all serious sports initiatives for the community and a message that every athlete brings to his country. Ahmed Hassan, the former national team, launched an initiative called: The Athlete Initiative. Together for Egypt, it reads:
I call all the athletes of all the games in Egypt, from all sports sectors and all volunteers of the charity to be present tomorrow at the Friday prayer at the Al Jazeera Youth Center to perform the prayer for absent and make a donation. For the benefit of the victims of the accident of the Egyptian station Ramses and all those who need blood and expression in any form whatsoever and solidarity with them and with the families of the victims of the tragic incident.
I believe in God that not everyone will be late to answer the call of duty in such situations.
