Dubai, UAE (CNN) – Al Hilal won a valuable victory over Al Ahli in the Zayed Cup semi-final for the Champions League on Sunday with a 1-0 win to delay the draw for the second leg.
On the grounds of King Saud University in Riyadh, Al Hilal scored Jonathan Suryano's only goal in the 49th minute, leaving the score intact.
Al-Ahli suffered a painful blow, injured by his star and his Syrian striker Omar Alsumah, without having finished the match and his exit from his injury.
Despite the impressive victory of Al Hilal, the draw will be postponed to the return match, which will take place on April 15 at "Radio Jewel".
