The Canadian club announced Tuesday that Italian striker Sebastian Juvenko would leave the team after four seasons to join the Saudi Al Hilal.
The deal was not announced, but the Canadian and US media reported that the Saudi team paid between $ 2 million and $ 3 million.
Juvenko, the highest salary in the United States with $ 7.1 million a year, will end his contract by the end of the 2019 season.
Juventus, 32, joined Toronto in January 2015 after leaving Juventus. She led her team to the US Open 2017 for the first time in her history, becoming the first Canadian team to achieve the feat.
Juvenko was crowned top scorer and league MVP in 2015, scoring 83 goals in 142 appearances in various competitions.
