According to Sky News, Putin announced the possibility of remarrying, without revealing the name of the bride, who answered a question from the reporter at her annual press conference, which focuses mainly on international relations and the economic situation.
Kabayeva's fame reached its peak after the publication of a Russian newspaper owned by billionaire Alexander Lebedev for his article on a secret relationship with Putin that resulted in the closure of the newspaper in 2008.
Kabayeva has been on the cover of several international magazines such as the fashion magazine "Vogue" and Mattel has been working on creating a Barbie doll like her.
Putin married Ludmila Potina from 1983 to their divorce in 2013. The marriage gave birth to two daughters, Katrina and Maria.

Rumors spread after Putin's divorce that he reportedly spoke of a relationship he had with the former Olympic gymnast, but the Russian president refused to confirm it.
Reuters reported in 2016 that a businessman with links to Putin had transferred real estate property to Alina's sister and grandmother.
Alina Kabayeva was born on May 12, 1983 in Tashkent, capital of Uzbekistan, and is part of a sports family where her father was a football player.
She also started gymnastics at the age of three and later, she won the gold medal at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens and the bronze medal at the Olympic Games. Summer of 2000 in Sydney, reported Sun newspaper.
