The Minister of Labor and Social Development, the engineer Ahmed bin Sulaiman Al-Rajhi, reaffirmed the ministry's willingness to empower and support women's work in the labor market, through several support initiatives, including: leadership training, awareness raising on women's participation.
At a meeting held Monday by the Chamber of Commerce with a number of businessmen from the Asir region, the ministry was supporting training initiatives, building the skills needed to enter the job market and create opportunities for job seekers, called parallel training.
He pointed out that work is underway to launch a new set of initiatives to support the business sector in general, after the 68 initiatives previously launched to facilitate procedures and support business growth.
He pointed out that the ministry is currently working with the authorities overseeing economic activities to explore the career prospects of citizens.
