Although he did not reveal the “iPhone 13” .. Leaks highlight the “iPhone 14”!

Apple is gearing up to host its next flagship event, with the iPhone 13 rumored to be days away from its unveiling.

However, before iOS fans got their first official preview of the new smartphone next year, the iPhone 14 may have leaked first.

The eye-catching “iPhone 14” was revealed by John Prosser, in a music video on Front Page Tech’s YouTube channel. The prominent Apple leaker has said that while some aspects of the iPhone 14’s design may change by the time it launches in September 2022, he’s confident it will stay the same overall. The only big change Apple fans will notice right away with the iPhone 14 is that the little notch on the front screen (to hear audio) – which debuted on the 2017 iPhone X – appears have been deleted.

In its place, a single hole camera should be placed in the center.

This will free up a lot of space on the iPhone 14’s screen and provide a less intrusive place for the selfie camera.

Elsewhere, the iPhone 14 is expected to come with a titanium frame and a thicker case, meaning there won’t be a need for a rear camera bump as the lens, flash, and LiDAR scanner are all surrounded by the device.

The iPhone 14 is also expected to feature rounded volume buttons similar to the iPhone 4 and 5, along with redesigned speakers and microphone arrays at the bottom of the phone.

And it looks like the one thing that won’t change, at least for some iPhone 14 models, is that the Lightning port will last longer.

For fans who have long hoped Apple will adopt a USB-C port for the iPhone, this could be a sticking point.

Prosser’s comments on the iPhone 14, which were highlighted in a MacRumours article, are also consistent with what analyst Ming-Chi Kuo said about the iPhone 2022 earlier this year.

At least some iPhone 14 models will ditch the notch for a single hole-punch camera, the analyst said.

Elsewhere, Apple plans to add a “Touch ID” below the screen, which will be displayed on some future iPhones.

It is rumored that this feature will be present in at least one iPhone in 2023.

Apple’s next event is Tuesday, September 14 at 6:00 p.m. GMT, and four new iPhone models are expected to be unveiled at that time.
