Amer Hussein, chairman of the competition committee, announced in an address to the radio program of stadium 9090 that matches of the Egypt Cup were postponed for security reasons.
Hussein said: "We have received an official letter from the safety report of the Cup matches for security reasons."
The Zamalek club announced on its official website that the Football Federation had decided to postpone the Egyptian Cup by security decision, while the White Club's board of directors had rejected this decision.
