An Egyptian girl recovered her sight in Mecca after arriving to perform the pilgrimage with her parents, a news report reported on Wednesday.
The Saudi "urgent" electronic newspaper claims that "the 16-year-old girl has regained her sight through a specialized team at King Abdullah Medical City's Neuroscience Center in Mecca".

"The patient was referred to the center after an almost complete loss of vision of the left eye and severe weakness of the right eye, due to the presence of a massive tumor and bleeding at the brain in the pituitary gland and compression of nerves from the eye ", reported the medical department.
The medical team includes the neurosurgery consultant and the skull base, Dr. Mohammed Ghazi Abdo, and the ENT surgery consultant, Dr. Islam Herzallah.
