Recent reports have revealed that the US company “Apple” has prepared an important warning to all owners of the new “iPhone 12” phone, which it announced last year.
According to Macromers, Apple recently updated a support document to warn that the iPhone 12 should not be kept too close to pacemakers, defibrillators, and other implanted medical devices that may respond to magnets and radios.
The new recommendations provide for a safe distance between this phone and its tools on the one hand, and the pacemaker, which is a small device placed under the skin in the chest area to help control the heartbeat.
The recommendations apply to defibrillators and other medical devices that may respond to magnets and radio waves.
The required distance, according to the new recommendations, is 6 inches in between (15 centimeters), according to Sky News.
This development comes days after doctors said the new phones could affect the implantation of these devices, and in one of the tests, the phone’s approach to the defibrillator prevented it from working.
