Danish police have confiscated a high-performance luxury car after its new owner was caught rushing from Germany to Norway, a Danish newspaper published in the north of the country reported on Friday.
The man, an Iraqi national residing in Norway who has not been identified, was seen on Thursday driving his Lamborghini Huracan at 236 km / h on a highway with a top speed of 130 km / h.

Under a new Danish law, the police can confiscate cars from careless drivers and sell them at auction, with the money being transferred to the Danish Treasury.
The Nordjeski newspaper said the man had bought the car hours earlier in Germany for two million crowns ($ 310,000).
Jess Valberg, a police officer in northern Denmark, told Nordjeski the owner was “a little upset” when his car was confiscated.
