Angry Premier League clubs call for emergency meeting after Saudi Arabia take control of Newcastle

Premier League clubs have expressed outrage over the Saudi Investment Fund’s takeover of Newcastle United and are pushing for an emergency meeting next week.

English newspaper “The Guardian” reported that the decision by the Saudi Investment Fund to acquire 80% of the shares of Newcastle FC has sparked clear and strong resentment from the rest of the English Premier League clubs.
