Apple Announces Update of iMac Series with Intel® 9 Generation Processors

Apple announced today the launch of new versions of the iMac series of computers, which reaches a very high level thanks to the presence of Intel 9 generation processors, with 8 cores for the first time on the Mac devices, as well as the AMD Radeon Pro Vega graphics processor with several options tailored to different categories.

"Customers will love the great performance improvement of iMac," commented Tom Puger, senior director, Mac Marketing. With up to eight processors and powerful options for Vega graphics processors, the Mac product line is stronger than ever. The iMac is the best desktop computer in the world with a superb Retina display, superb design, poor performance and MacOS Mojave.

The new iMac is available in two versions: the first 21.5 inches and comes with eight-generation Intel quad-core processors, delivering 60% faster performance than the previous generation, as well as the Radeon Pro Vega graphics processor with performance 80% higher than the previous generation. The second version includes a 27-inch display with Intel's ninth-generation quad-core or eight-core processors delivering performance up to 2.4 times faster, and the Radeon Pro Vega graphics processor delivers 50 percent better performance than from the previous generation.

Both devices feature a 14.7 megapixel and a billion color Retina display, providing increased visibility and the ability to adjust and watch 4K video with precision absolute.

The 21.5-inch iMac will be available with a 4K Retina display priced at 5,459 AED / AED, while the 27-inch iMac and Retina 5K will be available from 7,799 € / AED. The iMac will also be available without the 21.5-inch retina for AED 4,619 / AED.
