Apple opens a test streaming service

Apple has launched proprietary internal testing for its employees to give them quick access to the next Apple Arcade streaming service, providing a first glimpse into the service and games that will accompany it.

By offering its employees the opportunity to test Apple Arcade, Apple aims to gain valuable feedback that improves service before launching it to the general public, while detecting and correcting service gaps.

The description of the games currently available during internal testing of the streaming service indicates that they are still in the development phase. Therefore, testing them will also allow game companies such as Konami, SEGA and LEGO to detect bugs and gaps to correct before final publication. .

There will be no internal advertising or purchase in the games available on Apple Arcade. All content available on the service will be downloadable for a monthly subscription. The price to be paid by ordinary consumers is not yet known.

Apple described the service in March as "an innovative way to access a range of all-new games that will not be available on any other mobile platform or any other subscription service." Instead of paying in advance for each game, subscribing to the service will give players the opportunity to try any game of the service without risk.

The company explained at the time that each game could work without an Internet connection and that many games would provide support for game consoles.
