Apple has announced that it will provide modified versions of its iPhone to information security researchers, in order to help them detect deficiencies.
According to the quoted website "Business Insider", "Apple" announced the launch of these devices during the conference "black hats", which was held last Thursday.
Apple used to help researchers detect any shortcomings in its products, but this is the first time that it provides modified versions of the iPhone.
Modified phones will be awarded as part of a research program focused on the security of the iPhone's operating system, or EOS, and compensating anyone reporting a vulnerability.
Apple offers the opportunity to report to every information security researcher, but only if it shows a list of contributions in this area.
One of the advantages of these devices modified for "the iPhone", it will allow researchers to better detect deviations and will be easier to use than ordinary phones.
On the other hand, "Apple" has awarded a reward of one million dollars to every researcher who discovers the possibility of controlling the phone, "the iPhone", without any interaction or permission on the part from the owner of the device.
