Apple has regained its title as the most expensive company in the world, two months after losing its competitor Microsoft, which had held since last December, after eight consecutive years of control of the throne by Apple since 2010.
Apple's return to the top of the market comes after its stock has achieved a remarkable performance since the publication of its fourth quarter results in the fourth quarter of 2008, exceeding more than expected and the various business sectors of the company have experienced significant growth, with the exception of iPhone sales.
Apple has recorded a 12% increase since the publication of its quarterly results: $ 821 million, Microsoft, $ 813 million and Amazon, third with $ 805 million.
Apple has attributed declining sales of its iPhone to the strength of the dollar and the considerable destruction that the economies of many countries face against the US currency, the disruption of trade relations between the United States and China, and 39; marked decline in the Chinese economy and the low demand for new iPhone phones over the past period.
