Rumor has it that as the upcoming Apple Watch Series 7 grows in size, it will have larger sizes of 41mm and 45mm, and Apple plans to add new watch faces with larger screens.
In the last issue of its “Power On” newsletter, Bloomberg Mark Corman has pushed back his weight in the latest rumors thanks to the design of the small bezel and flat tip, the next Apple Watch will feature even larger sizes.
Compared to the current sizes of 40mm and 44mm, the Series 7 will be offered in sizes 41mm and 45mm. Corman says Apple plans to value big-screen real estate by pairing it with new Apple Watch faces that use larger screens.
This year’s watches are available in sizes ranging from 40mm and 44mm to 41mm and 45mm. I’ve been told that Apple will be bringing together several new watch faces for use on a larger screen, including an updated infographic mod face. This is the second time in Apple Watch history that the company has increased screen size in 2017, after the Apple Watch Series 4.
The new Apple Watch faces will be exclusive to Series 7 and will not be available with a software update for older models.
Along with the cosmetic changes, the Apple Watch Series 7 is expected to deliver improved performance and battery life. The Apple Watch series is scheduled to release at all Apple Digital Events on September 7 for iPhone 13. Learn more about what we’re looking forward to this fall with our guide.
