Apple’s “patent” … reverse charging to compete with Android

A pair of patents granted to Apple by the US Patent and Trademark Office will allow two-way charging, or “reverse charging,” according to a report released by the company’s Patentley Apple website.

The charging process will be performed by placing an Apple device, such as an iPhone, on the palm rest of the MacBook computer.

The idea behind this patent is to allow someone to overcharge their iPhone, while working on their laptop, if they forget their charging cable.

Reverse wireless charging is already available on a number of Android devices, although the technology is still in its infancy and is an extremely low-power solution.

MacBook devices are currently not compatible with wireless charging technology because they are made of aluminum, which will prompt Apple to rethink their devices with new charging technology.

Charging via the laptop is expected to be a way to increase the charging of the phones slightly, and it will not be very practical because the energy that will be saved by the computer is not comparable to the energy of normal electricity.
