"Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, vice president and prime minister of the United Arab Emirates and ruler of Dubai, is an important creator of influence in the Arab world on communication with the media," Rumaihi said.

He praised the Forum's role in developing the media sector and finding effective solutions to chaos problems in the Arab world and around the world, calling for the benefits of social media and its benefits.

The 18th edition of the Arab Media Forum was launched on Wednesday under the theme "Arab Media, Reality and Future", which will run until Thursday, March 28 at the Dubai World Trade Center.

The forum is being held under the patronage of HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates and Sovereign of Dubai, as well as the Dubai Press Club.
