They condemned the continued occupation of the three islands by the Iranian government and the violation of the sovereignty of the United Arab Emirates, which destabilizes security and stability in the region and threatens international peace and security.
They also condemned the Iranian military maneuvers involving the three occupied islands of the United Arab Emirates, the territorial waters, the airspace, the continental shelf and the exclusive economic zone of the three islands as an integral part of the United Arab Emirates. .
They called on Iran to put an end to these violations and acts of provocation that constitute an interference in the internal affairs of an independent and sovereign state, do not contribute to strengthen confidence, threaten security and stability in the region and endanger the safety and integrity of regional and international maritime transport in the Persian Gulf.
They condemned the opening by Iran of two offices on the island of Abu Musa, in the United Arab Emirates, demanding that the country removes these illegal facilities and respects the sovereignty of the UAE on its territory, as well as visits by senior officials to the occupied United Arab Emirates (Greater Tunb, Lesser Tunb and Abu Musa). .
They deplored Iran's hostile moves, saying that it was a violation of UAE sovereignty on its territory and inconsistent with efforts and attempts to to find a peaceful settlement.
He called on Iran to refrain from such provocative and growing measures and to adopt constructive positions that would strengthen confidence in a just solution to the issue of the three occupied UAE islands.
At the summit, the Council of the League of Arab States welcomed the initiatives taken by the United Arab Emirates to find a peaceful and just settlement of the issue of the three occupied islands with the Islamic Republic of Iran.
Arab leaders called on the Iranian government to end the occupation of the three islands of the United Arab Emirates, to no longer impose the status quo by force, to stop creating structures to change its demographic composition, to cancel all measures and to remove all previously unilaterally implemented facilities by Iran in the three Arab islands. These actions and allegations are null and void, have no legal effect, do not diminish the United Arab Emirates' fixed duty on its three islands and constitute acts contrary to the provisions of international law and the Geneva Convention. 1949.
They called on Iran to seek peaceful means to resolve the dispute on the basis of the principles and rules of international law, including accepting the referral of the case to the International Court of Justice.
They hoped that the Islamic Republic of Iran would reconsider its refusal to find a peaceful solution to the question of the three occupied islands of the United Arab Emirates, either through serious and direct negotiations or through recourse to the International Court of Justice.
They called on Iran to translate its desire to improve relations with the Arab countries, to establish a dialogue and to defuse tensions in concrete measures in response to the sincere and sincere calls of Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan , President of the United Arab Emirates, Gulf Cooperation Council countries and Arab countries. International groups, friendly countries and the Secretary-General of the United Nations have called for a peaceful settlement of the dispute over the three occupied islands, in accordance with international law norms and charters, through direct and serious negotiations or recourse to the United Nations.
