Arab leaders continued to congratulate Democratic candidate Joe Biden on Sunday after U.S. media reported he won the presidential elections in the United States.
And on Saturday, US media, including the Associated Press, reported that Biden had won the country’s presidency, according to election results, as it was confirmed that the chances of current Republican candidate Donald Trump of the join were reduced, amid the latter’s doubts about the integrity of the elections.
Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, in turn, congratulated Biden on Sunday for winning the presidency of the United States of America for the coming term, as well as his vice-president-elect Kamala Harris.

For his part, Sudanese Prime Minister Abdullah Hamdok congratulated Biden and his deputy on this victory.

“We look forward to working with them to continue building bridges of friendship and cooperation between our peoples and our two countries,” he added.
On Sunday, Sudan Sovereignty Council Chairman Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan congratulated Biden and his deputy, and said in a tweet on Twitter: “Congratulations to President-elect Joe Biden and his deputy on their victory historical.”
He added: “The government of Sudan looks forward to partnering with the elected administration in Washington to build lasting relations that serve the interests of both countries and lead to the strengthening of peace and stability in Sudan and in the region.”
And in Iraq, President Barham Salih said in a statement on Saturday: “I warmly congratulate President-elect Joe Biden, who is a friend and reliable partner in the cause of building a better Iraq. We look forward to doing so. achieve our common goals and promote peace and stability throughout the Middle East region. “
Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi on Sunday expressed his country’s aspiration to strengthen cooperation with the United States in the next step, with the victory of Joe Biden.
“I extend my congratulations to President-elect of the United States of America, Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris, and look forward to strengthening the strategic ties between our two countries towards a future based on mutual respect and values of joint and close cooperation to overcome challenges, ”Al-Kazemi said in a statement.
While the President of the Government of Northern Iraq, Masrour Barzani, said in a statement: I look forward to the continued close and strong cooperation between the region and the United States.
On the political front, former prime minister and head of the rule of law coalition, Nouri al-Maliki, head of the Salvation Front and former speaker of parliament, Osama al-Nujaifi, sent congratulatory telegrams to Joe Biden, according to two statements.
Of the United Arab Emirates, President Khalifa bin Zayed congratulated Joe Biden on his election as President of the United States of America, according to the official Emirates news agency.
Bin Zayed praised the “strategic and historical relations between the two countries and the two peoples” and affirmed the UAE’s willingness to strengthen bilateral relations with the United States.

In Yemen, Yemen’s Vice President Ali Mohsen Saleh congratulated Joe Biden on his victory in the US election.
In a cable of congratulations, Saleh called on the new US administration to work to achieve peace in Yemen and end the “Iranian corruption”.
