Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry said Turkey’s “blatant” practices and interventions in the affairs of many Arab countries represent “the most important emerging threats” facing Arab national security.

This happened during Shoukry’s speech on Wednesday before the Arab Ministerial Committee on Turkish Interventions in Arab Countries, chaired by Egypt, on the sidelines of the 154th ordinary session of the Council of the League of Arab States.

Shoukry called for the adoption of a “unified and firm” Arab policy to deter the Turkish regime, through greater coordination among Arab countries.
