He stressed that the Arab Foreign Ministers will discuss at their meeting on Friday the forms of response to such a resolution, stressing that it is "considered to take an Arab decision to reject this American measure on the Golan Heights, which underestimates the existing international order ".
"We believe, through the positions of the Arab countries, a strong Arab response to the US Golan decision and should ask the Arab countries of Kuwait, the only Arab member of the UN Security Council, to express the Arab rejection of the decision of the American president. "
Al-Khumairi explained that the meeting of permanent delegates had also discussed developments in Yemen, Syria and Libya, in addition to the issue of displaced persons and refugees and support for the Palestinian cause by activating the financial safety net of the Palestinian Authority.
On the crisis in Libya, the spokesman stressed that the meeting underscored the need to speed up and support the Libyan political solution within the framework of Libyan parties and without outside interference, stressing that the envoy UN Secretary General in Libya, Ghassan Salama, will attend the meeting of Arab foreign ministers.
Regarding the reform of the Arab League's structure, Al-Khumairi said the reform process was continuing, stressing that "there are Arab countries that wish to adopt the Arab League." a new structure for the Arab League at the next summit session ".
