As an extension of the state's efforts to complete the third line of the subway, Giza Governorate, in coordination with the General Authority of Roads and Bridges, announced that the Giza security sector, The General Administration of Giza Traffic and the National Subway Authority "Heading to Sudan Street and Nahia Bridge from the street of the League of Arab States with Mohei Eddin Aboulaz street up to # 39, to the administrative tower towards Lebanon Square.
Major General Ahmed Rashid, Governor of Giza, stressed that the subway project is a crucial step in the elimination of traffic problems in the streets and main axes of the governorate, as well as a cultural change which coincides with the efforts of the state to improve the services provided to citizens.
The implementation of remittances will begin on the morning of Friday, 22 February, for a period of three years, in the direction indicated by the traffic transformation:
· Next to Sudan Street and Nahia Bridge towards Al-Nasr Square:
After Sudan Street, go left to the central island in Arab League Street after the post-Shahab turning distance of 50 meters and continue in the opposite direction (to go from Victory Square to Sudan Street).
· Next to the Victory Square towards Shehab Street and Sudan Street:
Walk in the same direction and enter the deviation zone up to the street on the right or continue on Sudan street in the same direction.
· Next to Mohei Eddin Abu Alaz Street to Al-Nasr Square:
Turn right (direction required) on the slow road of the League of Arab States, towards the Victory Square, by taking a separate lane.
The governor of Giza asked officials of the Directorate General of Traffic, in coordination with various parties, to publish traffic signs and traffic boards around the commercial sector to guide drivers in the new directions.
Governorate of Giza calls citizens of pedestrians and motorists to comply with specific traffic instructions and traffic committee instructions to avoid any clutter or congestion and to facilitate traffic.
