Ambassador Mahmoud Afifi, spokesman for the Arab League, said that armed conflicts in some Arab countries threatened to maintain them and threatened national Arab security.

In a special interview with Extra News Channel on Thursday, Afifi said talking about the Arab national security system meant addressing a wide range of issues, including the security situation in Arab countries. .

The meeting of the Arab League Council, at the level of permanent representatives, was launched to prepare the 30th Arab Summit in Tunis, chaired by the Tunisian delegate to the Arab League, Ambassador Najib Al-Muneef.
The meeting addressed 21 points, including the report of the Saudi Arabian Presidency of the Arab Summit, the report of the Secretary-General on the joint Arab action process, the monitoring of the evolution of the political situation regarding the Palestinian issue and the Arab-Israeli conflict, the activation of the Arab peace initiative and the Israeli violations in Jerusalem.

Delegates reviewed the crisis in Syria, the developments in Libya and Yemen, the adoption of a unified Arab position regarding the violation of Iraqi sovereignty by Turkish forces, support for peace and development in Sudan, support to the Federal Republic of Somalia, support for the Comoros, Iranian interference in the internal affairs of the Arab countries, Greater Tunb – Lesser Tunb – Abu Musa 'belonging to the United Arab Emirates.

And discussed the reduction of 75% of Iraq's debt in funds provided to Arab countries, and the question of displaced Arabs and Iraqis in particular, and draft resolutions submitted by the Economic and Social Council, as well as the date and place of the next Arab summit.
