Approved the application of VAR technology to the quarter-finals of the Asian Cup
The AFC Executive Bureau has asked the Bahrain Football Federation (BFA) to allow its clubs to participate in the Saudi Professional Football Federation (FIFA), once all the required documents are completed, for correspond to previous procedures.

"The referees are ready, the teams have reached the final stage of preparation and we are looking forward to the opening match between the UAE and Bahrain on January 5th," Sheikh Salman said.
The proposal to implement the VAR video arbitration system was approved by the AFC referees committee, starting the quarter-finals, with the support of the International Football Association and the of the International Football Association (IFAB).
