Astronomers unveil new details on the first discovered interstellar comet

Cairo – By Mohamed Salah – Astronomers are trying to find out more about the recently discovered comet, which seems to be the first to be detected moving between star systems, but early observations indicate that it is strangely familiar and not nothing different from other comets.

According to the US website, the comet, now called Comet C / 2019 Q4, was first discovered on August 30th.

Tracking observations of its trajectory indicate that it is wandering in a one-way and that it is the second confirmed interstellar exoskeleton after comet Amumwa, which was spotted in 2017.

But scientists could not read the guilty motherhood, which makes this body the first to collect observations about it, and they can get such readings by measuring the light signature of the plate surrounding the comet.

The comets of other planetary systems could be similar to those of the solar system and have been formed by processes similar to those that led to the formation, said Javier Licandro, astronomer at the Institute of Science. astrophysics of the Canary Islands.

The team used a telescope in the Canary Islands to film the comet on September 12 and also used a proven instrument to collect three spectra. Preliminary analyzes of these spectra indicate that they correspond somewhat to those of a particular group of system objects.
