Asus has announced that the first Google Chrome Tablet PC will be unveiled at CES Consumer Electronics Show 2019 in Las Vegas early next week. This comes after the launch of the company's notebooks (ChromeBook) and is an introduction to the Android system on tablets, which gives a closer look at the phones' computers to the existence of the operating system.
The new device comes with the CT100 Chromebook tablet with a 9.7-inch screen of 1536 x 2048, protected by a layer of glass and is supposed to be resistant to shocks and falls, according to the company. It also features a 2 megapixel front camera and a 5 megapixel camera.
The device has a dual core OP1 processor with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage, a USB-C port and a battery that, according to the company, runs up to 7 hours continuously, once shipped.
With the CT100 Chromebook tablet, Asus aims to provide an aesthetic tablet so that students can easily perform tasks on the Chrome system, but has not yet announced its price, which means that it will be unveiled when displaying the device at CES 2019.
