Chaomi unveiled its new phone, the Red MeNot 7, with a glass background and color gradients, which supports a high-resolution camera.
The dual camera is one of the most important features of the Chinese phone: a 48-megapixel base camera with f / 1.8 aperture, a Samsung GM1 sensor and a 5-megapixel sub lens for greater depth.
The company confirmed that the main camera could use Pixel Binning technology to capture better images by combining adjacent pixels.
According to the technical website of AIT NEWS, the phone is powered by the Android Orio interface based on MIUI 9 and Qualcomm's 6-core Snapdraton 660 chipset.
The phone also includes a fingerprint sensor installed at the back, a headphone jack and a 400 mA battery.
The price of the phone starts at $ 147 for the 32-megabyte (MB) model, making it the least-smart phone with a 48-megapixel camera.
