A Dutch court sentenced Barcelona midfielder Ravenna Alcantara to a fine of one million euros for breaking a sponsorship deal with his sponsor and wearing a branded shoe.

Adidas took legal action against the 25-year-old Brazilian after Ravinia began wearing Mizuno shoes in July and refused to unilaterally expand the German company to the care contract that ended in June.

The court sentenced Ravinia to a fine and hired him to abide by the contract, although the player's defense team confirmed that the company had concealed the clause extending the contract and should have make it more visible to the player by adding five more years to the sponsorship contract.

Rafinha has been paid for wearing Adidas shoes and shoes since 2011, but his lawyer said this month that he wanted to cancel the deal because the company had not provided adequate support to the player when two serious injuries in 2015 and 2017.

Alcantara is unavailable for six months after having a cruciate ligament in the left knee after being injured during the match of Atletico Madrid.
