Spanish football club Barcelona plan to offer Frenchman Osman Dembli, the team’s wing, for sale in the upcoming summer transfer window, if he does not show his loyalty to the Catalan club.
According to the Spanish newspaper “Sport”, Dembele has shown his technical merit with Barcelona in recent times, but the crisis is currently linked to the player’s contract with the Catalan club.
She mentioned that Barcelona’s sports administration tried to renew Dembele’s contract earlier, but the player and his agent were unwilling to hear any offers.
She explained that the new Barcelona president will make the final decision on Dembele’s status, but if the latter insists on not renewing, he will be sold next summer before his contract expires in June 2022.
The Spanish newspaper revealed that Dembele was set to leave Barcelona last summer for Manchester United on loan with purchase rights, but the deal fell apart in the dying moments of the Mercato.
