Barcelona President Josep Maria Bartomio has expressed the wish for the Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola to return to the team in the coming period.
Guardiola took charge of Barcelona from 2008 to 2012 and managed to win 14 titles, including twice in the Champions League, before leaving for Bayern Munich in 2013.
"It's Guardiola who has decided to leave, but when Barcelona looks for a new coach, he'll be one of the team's candidates at the table," Bartomio said in an interview with ESPN.
"I think Pepe said earlier that he no longer saw himself as coaching the first Barcelona team, but that he could work for the club."
"He has a clear vision of the club's philosophy and style of play, and my ability to bring him home will be great for both the club and the players."
